I bought a Dell Inspiron R15 notebook this past weekend. It is mostly OK except for a somewhat wobbly keyboard (which is still better than all the other notebook keyboards I tried while looking for a new Windows notebook). What is not OK, however, is Dell’s software pop-up telling me about an update I don’t want. Even worse is the fact that there is no way to get rid of the popup without accepting it. I’m in the process of using Windows’ Control Panel Programs and Features to uninstall anything with the word “Dell” in front of it.
